How much does it cost to get a website built?

Price

from CHF 1,000

BOOK A FIRST CALL

The price depends on how much work is involved. More pages with their own layout, and features like a store, filters or a booking calendar, cost more. If your logo, text and images are ready, it costs less. The smaller the website, the closer the price gets to CHF 1,000.

When you compare quotes, include the running costs for domain, hosting and any support. The table separates one-time and ongoing items.

What sets the price

Pages with their own layout
Many pages with the same layout cost less than a few pages that all look different.
Filters, maps or booking
Every feature needs planning, development and testing on phone and desktop.
Online store
The work grows with the number of products, variants, payment methods and shipping rules.
More languages
Each language adds translations, menus and testing. Let us know early.

Agency, freelancer or website builder

A website builder is enough for a simple site, and a good freelancer for a small project. An agency is worth it when design, features and technology have to work together.

How a website project with Rekos works

A complete website takes 4 to 6 weeks. If content and feedback come in quickly, it goes live sooner. Meetings happen over video call.

  1. Before the project starts

    First call and quote

We talk through your goal, pages, features and style. Then you receive a personal quote.

Your part: Your goal, a rough budget range, websites you like

  2. Project start

    Structure and wireframes

Wireframes show how each page is laid out. They let you check whether visitors will find what they’re looking for.

Your part: Feedback on the site structure, first drafts of your text

  3. First half of the project

    Design in feedback rounds

Our senior team designs the pages for phone and desktop. You leave comments directly on the draft.

Your part: Quick feedback, collected by one point of contact

  4. Second half of the project

    Development and testing

We code the pages and features. Then we check the layout, load time and SEO basics.

Your part: Final text and images, domain and hosting logins

  5. End of the project

    Launch and training

We take the website live. Then we show your team how to manage the content.

Your part: Sign-off for the launch, time for the training

What you provide for the project

  • A clear goal

More inquiries, more sales or fewer calls with the same routine questions.

  • A rough list of pages

Bullet points are enough. We work out the structure with you.

  • Text about your services

Rough drafts are fine. Services, prices and opening hours must be correct.

  • Photos and logo

Your own photos are more credible. Ideally, send the logo as a vector file.

  • Domain and hosting logins

Find out early who has them. Sometimes it’s your previous agency.

What you get from us

  1. Branding if you need it

If you don’t have a clear visual identity yet, we start by creating a logo, colors, fonts and guidelines for your team.

  2. UX and UI design

Site structure, wireframes and the finished design for phone, tablet and desktop. A custom design, not an off-the-shelf template.

  3. Development

We code the design with fast load times and a solid SEO foundation. After that, you manage the content yourself.

  4. Online store if you need it

If you sell online, we build the store as part of the project. Stores make up a large share of our projects.

After the project: handover and running costs

After launch, you manage your website yourself, including sections we code by hand. At the end of the project, we train your team.

If you need help later, we fix bugs, install updates or build new pages.

The main running costs are domain and hosting. Keep both in your name and write down who has which logins.

Handover at a glance

  • Full control over all content
  • New pages without coding skills
  • Training for your team at the end
  • Help after launch whenever you need it

Common questions about getting a new website

More questions?

Write to us or book a short first call.

LET'S TALK

How much does a website from Rekos cost?

A website with us starts at CHF 1,000. We give you the exact price in a personal quote after the first call. It depends on the pages, features and languages, and on whether your logo, text and images are ready. The design concept you get before hiring us is free.

What ongoing costs are there after launch?

Every website has ongoing costs for domain and hosting, plus support if you want help with updates, bugs or new pages. You update text and images yourself. Ask every provider about these items, or you won’t be comparing quotes fairly.

Homepage or website: is there a difference?

People often say homepage when they mean website, but strictly speaking, the homepage is just the main page. What matters for price and process is which pages and features you need. Even a small website gets its own design with us, from CHF 1,000.

How long does it take from quote to launch?

For a complete website, we plan for 4 to 6 weeks from project start. If text, images and feedback come in quickly, it goes faster. A large online store or several languages can take longer.

How does the free design concept work?

After the first call, we design a first draft of your website before you hire us. It costs nothing and shows whether we’re a good fit. You can also request it through the contact form.

Can I edit the website myself after launch?

Yes. You change text and images yourself and add new pages without coding skills. At the end of the project, we train your team. If you need support later, we’re there after launch too.

Does Rekos work with companies in Switzerland?

Yes. From Vilnius, we also work with clients in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, such as “Journal to mySelf” from Wil, St. Gallen. Meetings happen over video call. We don’t have an office in Switzerland, and working together doesn’t require one.
